Official Regulations - Endurocross Maramureș 2026 (4th Edition)

HEM Sports Club invites you on August 28–30, 2026, to Baia Mare, Văratec area (left of the Simared complex), for the 4th edition of "Endurocrossul Maramureșului". Organized under the auspices of the Romanian Motorcycling Federation (FRM) and part of the NW Regional Championship, open to EU competitors. 1. GENERAL CONDUCT & REGULATIONS • All competitors and crew must adhere to these regulations. • The organizer reserves the right to reject entry or disqualify competitors demonstrating unsportsmanlike conduct, aggression, or rule violations. 2. RACE FORMAT • 3-Day Event: - Day 1: 10 KM forest course. Individual time-trial starts according to online registration order. Times establish Day 2 starting order. Riders missing Day 1 start at the back of their class on Day 2. - Days 2 & 3: LE MANS style mass starts. • Minimum 5 riders required to validate a competition class. • Official race number plates provided by organizers. 3. SCHEDULE • Friday, August 28: - 10:00–15:00: Check-in, scrutineering & medical checks - 16:30: Rider Briefing - 17:00: START Day 1 (20:00: Results posted) • Saturday, August 29: - 09:30: Briefing - 10:00: START Moto Day 2 - 13:00: START ATV / Quad Day 2 - 20:00: Results posted • Sunday, August 30: - 08:45: Briefing - 09:00: START Moto Day 3 - 11:00: START ATV / Quad Day 3 - 16:00: PODIUM CEREMONY 6. COURSE MARKINGS & MARSHALS • Shared course: KTM orange ribbon & directional arrows. • Quad loop: WHITE (Husqvarna) ribbon & arrows. • Off-limits paths: RED/WHITE barrier tape. • Hazard zones: RED tape (slow down, high danger). • Marshals: Green Vests (Checkpoints/Admins), Orange Vests (Track Marshals). Obey all marshal instructions. • Mandatory Stop: Competitors must stop their front wheel at the Start/Finish marshal station for lap recording. 7. ADMINISTRATIVE CHECK-IN Available on-site at the race office: • Registration form + proof of payment; • FRM Race License: 170 RON; • Sports Insurance: 175 RON; • Medical clearance: 50 RON; • Notarized parental consent mandatory for minors. 8. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS & PADDOCK • 2-stroke or 4-stroke Enduro/Motocross bikes, ATVs, and Quads are accepted upon passing technical inspection. • Strict ban on leaking fluids or missing silencers/baffles. • Bring vehicle and helmet to scrutineering. • No Parc Fermé: after inspection, refueled vehicles stay in the staging area near the start. 9. TRACK SAFETY RULES • Full protective gear mandatory: certified helmet, off-road boots, body armor, gloves, knee/elbow pads. • Strict prohibition against riding backwards on the track. • Failed hillclimbs: you must walk your bike downhill on foot along the edge, yielding right of way to climbing riders. • Refueling permitted only in the designated zone with the ENGINE STOPPED. 10. EMERGENCIES & PENALTIES • Stop and assist injured riders; notify the nearest marshal immediately. • Abandonments must be officially reported to the race office. • PENALTY: Leaving the track and not re-entering at the exact departure point incurs a 1-HOUR TIME PENALTY.
